FREMONT, CA: Sustainable technology is known as the technology that meets current requirements without jeopardizing future generations' ability to fulfill their own. It allows for more efficient use of natural resources and a significant reduction in environmental impact, among other technological advantages.

Natural resource use has expanded tremendously in quickly industrializing countries in recent decades and only lately begun to recognize the negative repercussions of this careless attitude toward the environment.

The world of fashion is beautiful and sophisticated today, but its environmental impact is deteriorating by the day. The textile sector got labeled as one of the most polluting in the world. Textiles generate waste not just during production but also during use. Textiles and apparel are processed using large amounts of energy, clean water, and chemicals at every stage of the process. As a result of untreated effluent generation and trash generation, these activities pollute the air, water, and land, putting a tremendous load on the ecosystem.

Exhaust piece dyeing

With their new development, the Then Airflow Lotus machine, the world's first long tube machine to function using the original aerodynamic concept, 'Then' has created a combination of advantages of long tube machine design with aerodynamic fabric transportation principle. The goal of the research was to develop a system that would be particularly well suited to the wet processing of delicate, conveniently creased cellulose and synthetic fiber knits and wovens with a high percentage of elastane fiber, such as those found in the lingerie, sport, leisure, and swimwear segments.

Cold pad batch dyeing

Because of the lower water consumption and reduced effluent loading, there is increasing interest in reactive dye application by cold pad batch application for vertical knitted fabric operations, with a claimed reduction in variable costs of 15-30 percent. Machine design advancements mainly focus on open width processing with advanced auto-center and uncurling edge devices. Still, they also include dosing pumps, low-liquor troughs, and setups that allow the dye to get applied in both the nip and the low-liquor trough.

Energy efficiency

Energy efficiency is a crucial component of long-term sustainability. For many years, textile finishing has relied on chemical and heat procedures that have a significant environmental impact by today's standards. The cost of energy is expensive, and the use of chemicals is required. In certain circumstances, the savings benefits realized in recent years have been relatively significant.
